"The Mercenaries" by Michael Zolezzi

Charles Billington and Frank Winters have completed a brand new voice activated word processor. Before the program can be sold, Frank’s gambling problem catches up with him. In a moment of weakness Frank sells out his business partner. During the theft of the program Charles’s entire family is killed and he is left for dead. While recovering in the hospital Charles contacts a mercenary group and hires them for paid vengeance. Mike Anderson, the leader of the mercenary group, forms his team of diverse mercenaries and starts the process of hunting down Charles’s attackers. Jeff Riley, the target of Mike‘s operation and the man responsible for the death of Charles’s family learns of the plot to kill him and hires a mercenary group of his own. This leads to a showdown between the two mercenary teams.  

This novel will appeal to many of today’s readers who enjoy action and adventure. It features gunfights, car chases, deception and ambush. This book has it all, even romance.
